"Do You Believe In God?"

Before this leaves my mind,I wanted to share this encounter with you. Yesterday at my second job,a guy calls in and places an order for a Cobb Salad,with no bacn,dressing or cheese(which I suggested the latter.) He stressed "NO BACON." "Allergy?" I asked and he replied yes. Now it is extremely rare to meet someone with the same allergy as I do,so I found it intriguing. So the guy shows up with his significant other(I suppose,but who knows,not my circus,not my monkeys) So he then confides in me that he is not really allergic to pork,he just doesn't eat it,and people give him a hard time about it. So he says it's a allergy. Then he asks me "Do you believe in God?" NOW....I NEEED TO STRESS that up until we entered the current wave of this religious BS persecution,I had no problem telling people that I am a polytheist. Nowadays,even the most calm conversation can go sideways and I don't want to deal with that shit,on the clock or not. For safety's sake,I omit that portion. I HIGHLY doubt anyone would blame me. So I said yes. Note,that I did not say that I believed the way he did nor bash his beliefs. I believe in several to his one,magic and lore,the ancient ones,etc. Basically letting him talk and talk he did. Stating the double handedness of people eating pork when the Bible says not to,and such. I also brought up Idol worship,which is also out of hand. All in all he left a few minutes later,the atmosphere still chill. All the Elders be praised!!!!
