THOSE COCKSUCKING SONS OF BITCHES! *inhales and exhales deeply,several times* As you know from my previous entry,I am having an issue with my storage unit. Its in regards to payment. I am late,due to the fact that they raised the price several times over the five years of my renting my unit. So,tell me,how DOES one go about raising the rent when you don't actually DO anything to justify it? I went from paying 150.00 in 2018,to 297.98 in 2022/2023. This is absolutely absurd! The payment in question is this months payment,yes,the month we are currently in. Since my whole medical fiasco last month,everything waa delayed,because I HAD to take time off,make a doctor's appointment,get medicine and get much needed rest. This caused me to lose FIVE SHIFTS between both jobs and delayed everything a few weeks,causing me to be later than normal. I spoke to these people on THREE separate occassions,telling them I was going to be late,and that I would have the money and pay it by the seventeenth. The day arrived,and I had to max out my credit card,even though it wasn't enough and I still had a remaining balance of 150.00. Then I get a notice staring they may put a lien on my property due to lack of payment,so I call again,and the lady said she would make a note of it in my account. She wasn't very personable,as I stated in my previous entry and she would barely answer when I checked to make sure we weren't disconnected. TWICE. So the next DAY I get an email saying they put a lein on my unit and I have two weeks from receiving that email to pay in full before it goes to auction. I asked the Gods,Yahweh,in particular to help me be able to pay off my until and LO! THE SAME DAY they sent me that email,just hours later, my income tax was direct deposited into my account. Just in time! Thank Yahweh,his queen and the Elder Gods! I understand they are managing their company,but the fact that I have been in constant communication with them and they STILL put the lein on it? What, like you can't override the command to auto assign penaties to your tenants? I am not dumb. I told them I had to wait until I had more money, and I feel this was done delibrately. I reserved a new unit at cube smart,another storage facility, and will be relocating my things there late next month. Public storage is unethical,a ripoff and just bad business. They can GO SUCK A LEMON! THE NERVE!
