P.O. Box, F**** This!!!!

Current mood: ANNOYED....it's 6:32am and my mind is racing. Yesterday all was well until I hit a blip in the road. So as you know,following the move from my former roommates house,I didn't have a mailing address. So,a mutual acquaintance,who I met through said roommates,who used to be there babysitter has been letting me use her address to send my mail to her place. I ALWAYS told her. "Let me know what works best for you" "Let me know when you can meet up." Granted,as you also know,I work seven days a week and don't have a new place yet,nor a car yet. So she messages me and asks if I am free today,which is Friday. I said yes,that I am hanging out with a friend and asked why. She then replied that the back of her SUV looked like a Amazon van. She has said this several times over the past few months,to which the reply was always the same:LET ME KNOW WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. I was letting her dictate the time and place to meet up,so I can get my mail from her. What followed was a pseudo accusation of my "not communicating" when I have been trying since December to meet up with her. She started a new job yesterday and I had knowledge of this so again I said let me know what works for you. She then goes to say that (this portion is in the beginning of the month here on my birthday in fact) she was sorry and for got She had made plans to go see a show on the fifth. To which I said wasn't a issue and to again,LET ME KNOW WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU. I did mention that I was on vacation and had plenty of time available. So I told her I had a additional week off and apparently,somewhere in her head,I changed the narrative. She said I had a weekend off,then I changed it to a week,now it's two weeks. FIRSTLY when your birthday falls on the weekend,I and many that I know refer to it as THEIR BIRTHDAY WEEKEND. NOW...my vacation from Disney was from the fifth of February until the nineteenth of February. So, ten days,excluding my regular days off,which I was working at my other job,even on my birthday this year. Since WHEN do I have to tell someone how much vacation time I'm on? I didn't have to tell her shit as far as I'm concerned. But to say insinuate that I am not "communicating" and to try to further get my ire by saying "sweetie the concert was two weeks ago" two days,two weeks,neither are relevant. What's RELEVANT is that I told you copious times to let me know what works best for you and you want to act patronizing, like I'm slow and unable to keep up? Right...okay. your superiority complex can take a seat. I'm grateful that you are doing me a solid,but acting like a first class ass toward me doesn't get you anything but my disdain. Adding onto that,WHY would you keep my MAIL in the back of your SUV?? If you would LET ME KNOW WHAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU,WE COULD PLAN ACCORDINGLY!! Am I not being clear here? For FUCKS SAKE!!! I know,, PETTY,right? So,as a result,I will be getting a P.O. Box in two weeks,when I have more cash. It will still have their address,but my mail will hopefully be separated and kept in the P.O. Box. I don't have all of the specifics at the time I write this,but I will go in before the gym on Saturday morning and get the forms I will need. On a side note....GODS, why are some the people I had the misfortune of befriending like this here? I know that this isn't just me. There is something getting more disturbing in this state by the second. From my jobs,down to this encounter here. Maybe it's telling me to not only be choose my company wisely,but just leave the state. It could be another effect of the polishing. Either way,the call to a better way of life gets stronger by the second. The first things on the agenda? A car and my own place. If I am going to be here for the next few years,I will need to step up my game,and revert back a bit to holding my hand closer to my chest.
