"YOU CAN'T FIRE ME....I QUIT!!"

Well sports fans, it's official. Due to my health concerns,I have put my two weeks in at Buffalo Wild Wings. This is NOT how I wanted it to happen,and I would be lying if I didn't say that I was genuinely a bit upset about ending things this way,and about losing a check every other week,even though it was meager(my hours were cut last fall and it has been slower than normal.) After sitting on this though,I am pleased to have lasted as long as I have. I will have more time to rest,and Hidden Treasure Productions will have a SERIOUS uptick in the next few days. Auditions,here I come. So long and fare thee well, Buffalo Wild Wings. I appreciate you.

"Now Let Me See You Go Back And Forth..."

The internet...ugh..so mid-January, I used all of my data for my mobile hotspot and have been running at a lower speed...SINCE MID-JANUARY. Now here we are, ten days into February,abd its still slow. So I called AT&T and explained my situation and the guy was really sweet and told me that my plan was from the eleventh of the month to the eleventh of the next month. Which luckily,starts again tomorrow. Thank goodness. STILL,I am not pleased as this affects my business and causes it to suffer. SO I am currently,in a chat with an associate for the ISP CenturyLink (I had them at my last apartment and I really liked their service.) Mind you,we started this chat of ours at exactly one o'clock this afternoon. Here it is now three-thirteen p.m.,and we are still finalizing everything. The "back and forth",comes into play with my giving her my information and a lot of thanks and appreciation from both sides. Two hours is a stretch,but if I am able to do this,then I will be able to use my hotspot only as needed instead of exclusively,which to me is a HUGE boon. I think part of the issue is that I am staying in a motel,and I wasn't sure that I would be able to do this. So my modem/router will be sent to my mailing address,so my coworker will be able to get it to me. My fingers are crossed,I pray that I won't be too expensive,les,I will have to wait.

"Can I Get It Back,Doh?"

Yesterday at Buffalo Wild Wings, A guy by the name of "Steven" (that is the name he gave me,i'm not sure if its real) walks into the restaurant and asks to buy a gift card. I am working the cash register and I say, "sure,pick one out." So he goes and does so and I start the process of activating said gift card. I asked for his form of payment. He then gives me a fifty-dollar bill. ON SITE,I can tell its fake. It looked slightly smaller that usual and the moment it touched my hand,I KNEW it was fake. So I say to him,"excuse me,I have to get my manager,there is something wrong with the barcode. Its giving me an error message." So I take both the gift card and the fake fifty with me and walk away. As I am walking through the kitchen, I say aloud to myself, " I like how people think i'm fucking stupid." I go in back by the coolers and call for my manager,Simba. I tell her the situation and she takes the bill and checks it AND THE BILL TURNS OUT TO BE REAL. My manager and I are BOTH not fooled. We determined that the ACTUAL bill was either a one dollar or a five dollar bill,(which is what I thought) that have been altered to appear like a genuine fifty dollar bill. So Simba confiscated the bill and she went out to speak with, "Steven." My teammate Ashley asked what was going on and I told her and asked her to do a "drive-by." (meaning sneak up front and see if said guest is still there.) I told Ashley that I wasn't going up there AT ALL. If he was still there. Ashley and I overhear some of the conversation and Simba walks back and relays the conversation to us. If I had of noticed immediately,he would've had a gift card with twenty dollars and I would've given him thirty dollars in change,thus he still would of had fifty dollars between the two and my drawer would of been short. She tells us that he "needed his change and his uber was waiting outside." To which she replied "NO." Then he has the AUDACITY TO ASK,"Why?" To which she responds, "BECAUSE ITS FAKE!!" He then CONFIRMS ITS FAKE by saying "Yea." Then asks, "Can I get it back,doh?" To which she replies,"No! Its confiscated!" The nerve of some people! My manager took the bill,and has it up in the office as an example for my teammates to see. This happens just a few months after the managers warned us that an influx of fake money was coming into our area. Again,the audacity!!!!
